Good gracious this book is all dialogue

How in the world does your son's opinion on your music or double checking your babysitter's availability or making sure the freezer was stocked for your husband have anything to do with a decapitated girl?

Lady, I really don't care about your dreams, your diet, or that you watch TV while you wotk..... work..... for the love of of God, tell me about the case!

WOW. It's like Dracula but WOW

Why be so secretive just to lay it all out on the table like that!? LOL

Yeah, I just figured out the ending...

I'm so not the audience for this book. So before the plot was curse words and thinking about sex and now that the main characters have finally done the deed, I see that the plot is going to be about bad words thinking about or having sex. LOL I'm not against either but in order to write a novel that adults want to read, you really need more than just those two elements. Give me some good writing please.

So if you like or live this, you should read the one who did first, best, and at an actual adult level of reading! Check out the world of Pern by Anne McCaffrey!

That feeling when you want to throw a book across the room😭

This case was infuriating then and even more so reading this book!

I haven't wanted to utterly devour a book in ages!!!

It's very interesting but unnecessarily verbose...

Not feeling it as much as the first so good though, I'm not far enough to deem otherwise. My one gripe is that the MFC has been given the job of quartermaster simply because she makes decisions on this particular trip. A QM's job is vast! There's navigation, finances, and thebdelegation of task to name only a few.

FREAKING LOVE

I think a lantern may have some how relit itself (I'm going to assume the Rollins forgot to mention Rhaif relit it or I missed it)
And there is a typo. I hope these two things in the first 50 pages aren't foreshadowing to a poorly edited novel.

I have laughed out loud so many times in just a few chapters!

Pretty interesting given the style it's written in.

Really hoping this picks up. I'm bored. At least it's narrated by Jim Dale.
