I find myself not being as interested in many of the characters as I used to be. So many side stories! I have to push myself to keep reading at times, which is a shame, because I used to enjoy the first few books so much.

This book is delicious. I cannot believe I was fortunate to download it for free on a whim. What a fabulous discovery!

Down to just skimming stuff. Most of this is available on the internet and could be read in a total of 10 minutes.

I've read a lot of YA that is sophisticated, thought-provoking, and interesting. This is not that kind of book. The humor can be amusing, but I'm finding it a bit too simple at times. Annoyed as well that the author assumes 14 year olds to be as childish/smothered by mothering as badly as Nick experiences. Also, her video game references are several years behind.

I imagine this book would be quite confusing if you didn't already have some knowledge of Kenyon's adult Dark Hunter series.

So far it's a bit repetitive. The author has said the same 5 points just from a different angle for each chapter... hopefully I get more out of it soon, or I'm going to end up skimming.

Starting at page 428 there are all sorts of formatting/grammar errors. It's like the editor fell asleep at the end of the book or something.

Better than some of her others but I still feel like sometimes Feehan just changes out names and places in a formula to come up with a new book.

Enjoying the witty dialogue

Completely implausible but nonetheless enjoyable entertainment.

I like the first meditation on the CD but find the second one, with your partner, to be a bit chatty.

Published 1997... that explains things. I was wondering why a cutting edge technology would involve floppy disks...

Drawn into this Kindle freebie in spite of myself...

Sometimes I do get tired of the author returning again and again to the concept of agnosticism. I get it in a way because I'm atheist, but it's so repetitive in each book that sometimes I wish he'd move on.

Wow, everything bad that can happen does seem to happen in this book. And yet, the characters seem a little cliche for my tastes...

Love this series. Intelligent, crafty main characters who are probably smarter than I am? Sure! Strong, admirable, smart leading ladies? Check!

Not much here that's new to someone who's been researching natural birthing for a while. It's also pretty much what is mentioned in the class... some of it could be said with less words.

Rather depressing so far but fairly well done.

New characters and new storyline... I'm going to miss my familiar friends. Still, this could get interesting...

It would probably have helped if I were familiar with the characters by reading some of the previous books... but so many of them all seem so stupid! They discuss the obvious like it's hard to understand. I prefer my characters to be a little more witty and smart.

The voice actor for this audiobook... I cannot hear him speak without hearing him read the voices for Watership Down. He even said "bigwig" and it cracked me up!

A little confusing keeping all the characters straight on the audio version...

He gets rough with her and scares her and she's the one who's sorry? Why do I keep reading this drivel?!
