I have loved the book.

The book is really good. It is fast paced and full of twists.

So far a great read. Clones in space... yeah!

Really good. But the main character seems so robotic inspire the author going for the opposite. “I had always been the emotional one in our relationship, impulsive.” Really?

The book is pretty good, but I have hard time relating to the main character - she uses abbreviated words a lot and she seems too upbeat and very high energy for someone who has supposedly lost their husband recently.

Shallow, cliche, poor writing... “Gerri Cain was an attractive woman, forties, well-built, in shape. Her dark hair held natural curls that hung above her shoulders and bounced when she walked, but it was her confidence that magnified her attractiveness. Liam had always thought she was beautiful, and his respect for her made her all the more alluring.”

Do not like this phrase: “his eyes full of concern”. it is a tense moment, everything should be in motion and on edge. Phrases like that one slow the pace and the scene seems to be too slow. Typical of this book. Needs to be faster paced.

Good plot, but terrible dialogue.

The guy is evidently a criminal and a delusional killer and yet: “A deep sadness emanated from him, and she wanted to reach out and touch him, have him hold her and tell her everything was going to be okay.” What???

Ok, page 135 that I am on right made my jaw drop literally. I am not kidding. This is one of the best books I have read in a very long while.

The book is very good, but it is written from the point of view of a boy and by page 42 this point of view is getting old...

The book has been really good thus far. Several plot lines will very likely come together soon. It is very interesting and well written.

Some of the adult characters are so childlike that it makes me sick. This is so silly. I am so disappointed. It could be such a good book. To much fairy tale like stuff. Not sure I can read another page of this silliness.

The book is actually nice. My only concern is that something bad may happen to fuzzies. If so, I do not want to continue reading it...

The book is nice. But I wish I had not read so many reviews and did not read up about the book beforehand. because I know the main idea for the plot, it seems very slowly moving so far.

I am not sure I can get past “Any lower and he’d figure out she wore nothing under the dress. She couldn’t. Every undergarment she’d tried on showed some sort of obvious line or came up too high for the low back. Thankfully, the dress had built-in support for the front, but lower down was a problem.” Maybe I will just start another book.

After 30 percent till about 49 percent in, the mystery/thriller side of the plot picked up. But now it is back to the romantic line again and it is as silly as before. “...her deadly shoes”, “...those gray eyes burned hot holes in hers.” I am not sure the author is even trying. Or more likely she is trying to captivate the audience of readers who are into such silliness.

The suspense is pretty good, but the romance part - meh. Too much of romance for my taste. Also the romance of this kind seems unrealistic to me or plain stupid. Well, maybe it is realistic because it is stupid. (Two handsome looking people falling in love in a matter of two days, or rather from the first sight...) I do not know. I hope the suspense part picks up or I will not have any motivation to finish it.

I have lost interest. Most of the book is about the main character doing mundane things. It is like watching grass grow.

I am not sure it is a biography... rambling and uninformative so far... where was he born, what was his family and upbringing like?

I am still not hooked. I hope that the next book in the series gets going from page one. The first two books in the series were superb though.

Still no real action whatsoever...:(

I am waiting for a "hook". I do not see any point to events yet. No suspense... no action... and if is pretty boring... But still the writing is good. I just hope the real stuff start happening soon. I do not care for Adrian Tarn's romantic escapades one bit...

I am not very impressed. Here are two quotes. "At six foot, with matching dark hair and mustache, he was one hundred percent Italian but without the ties to the mob, or so he said." Is this an attempt at humor? Stereotypes are not funny. Or this next "attempt"? "Clay often joked that had he been there; Caesare would have slept through the bombing of Pearl Harbor." Really? "often"?
