The absolute joy of starting a book and having the characters instantly jump off the page: UGH, YES.

And this is the point where I hop off this ride. NO JUDGMENT; I just found a kink that I do not share and really don’t enjoy reading about.

Also: I kept thinking about the record scratch my brain did when Imogen did not know what jelly was, but pu$$y was RIGHT on the tip of her tongue. So we’re just sheltered from … spreadable condiments? Okay.

And … DNF.

Hovering on the edge of noping out, because even drunk + traumatic backstory doesn’t make it fun to have the MMC call the FMC a cow. 😬
