According to the reviews, there are lovers and haters of this book. I'm definitely one of the lovers already. Can't be otherwise if it is "not about the murder of man's body, but about the murder -and rebirth- of man's spirit".

I got this Hollows series from a friend about two years ago and not until I moved house I picked up #1 to actually read it. #1 starts a bit slow, but it's having my attention from chapter 3 on. It has got a good tension building, it's sexy and it's fast. I learned that the first book of this series wasn't good, but it will getting better with the rest of it. I love that prospect!

"Which of yours beliefs today will turn out to be obviously false tomorrow?"

Ted Dekker is an excellent writer who knows how people's minds work. I love to get lost in such a horrible story, it keeps me both aghast and curious how it will end.

"It wouldn't be beyond a psychiatrist to suggest that the silver piece had become her identity. As such, she was lost in the deeply held fear that she didn't belong. Not to a family, not to a man, not to a friend, not even to herself." The first part of Identity is a free Kindle book. It's keeping me in suspense: the fears the characters have to deal with are recognizable. I can't say no more: have to read the rest.

Michael Collins: you can not not love him: he's a good story teller. He's able to make technical stuff of the planes interesting and you feel his mind blowing excitements, his fear of not being selected for the MSC and later to become an astronaut. He has that dry humor which makes me roll off the couch from laughing, like when he had to study geology: they have had trips to the Grand Canyon f.e., where he rented a b

By taking the red pill, Neo encountered an age-old philosophical problem: How do you know what is real? Or, worse yet: can you know what is real?
The question is: How seriously should you take it?

Impressive: the story as well as the writing style:
