I am getting into it a lot because the way the author writes is very gripping and makes you want to read more and more. I can connect this book to the social issue of Identity because she is trying to find out who she is after her dad to be taken away from her. One thing she knows is that she loves art and before the soviets came she wanted to go to an art college. When I read thing book I can imagine how it would be

This book came to the climax really quickly and engaged me onto reading more and more. The main characters name is Lina who wanted to go to art school but instead one night the sovient secret police barged into their house and they had to be sent to Liberia. I really like the author's style of writing because it does not drag the story like other books too and uses very intense language that engages you a lot.

I am on page 78 and I am finding out that the starting of the book was very interesting but it did not have any relations to the last pat of the book which was a cliff hanger. I realized more of rose's character and I think that her's and Christians relations will get better because they both got kidnaped at the same time and rose looks up to Christian to be her partner in surviving from strigoi members.

I loved the ending of the book and how the author summed up both books into one and made it interesting. Also, something drastic happens that nobody really expects but does add some conflict and drama to the story. Rose really needs someone to lean on, for example, Dimitri but he does not wasn't to be near her so now she keeps all her feeling inside which makes conflicts with her and Lissa which us also interesting.

The whole gang has been kidnapped by the strigoi and there was a huge plot change that caused the story to be 10x more interesting but the characters change their personalities. A few new characters were added like Adrian who is apparently very smart and likes rose but rose does not like him. I think the writer really slows down the important parts of the book and that what makes it more interesting.

Rose's mom punched her in the face when they were in training and so now she has a black mark on her face and there are rumours going around in the school about the punching. Rose now is more of a person who does not share anything with other people and because lisa is now with christian she does not have anybody to share her thoughts with about Dimitri and her mom coming to the academy. She is very different.

I really like how this book concentrated on Rose, Dimitri and Lisa the most because they are the main characters and most of the problems happen to them so it is more interesting. Also when rose met Christians aunt they build up the suspense so the conversation they are having is very unique and people actually want to read it. Rose has a very weid charector that changes moods very fast and gets upset at lisa a lot.

I think that the boo has reached the climax point and is now trying to solve the problem. I really liked how the authour explained the climax with such good detail, but also slowed it down and but emphasise on the points that were really important. The thing I dont like about this book is that it does not come up with a problem fast but it explains the characters backgrounds more than coming to a fascinating point.

I really like how the authour is putting the last paragraph of the 1st book into the 1st paragraph of the 2nd book, so it clears all of the confusion that the reader might have. Rose is starting to make more connections with the people around her and she is now understanding why its important to live in the academy. Lisa has a spirt which means that she can heal anyone with her powers, so people are taking advantage.

I am on page 196 and rose is really getting bullied at school and Lisa wants to help her and try to put Mia down. I think the author has done a good job with explaing rose's feelings in this part because she is really sad and depressed. " A sickening feeling settled in my stomach." Is one sentence I really liked because it really intereges the reader to want to know more about the plot. There was a huge plot twist

I really like how the author is explaining the characters in detail and they get into the scene. I also like that all the characters are versatile. I am on page 170 and the author has not really reached the climax yet. It does have small problems and shows them in detail but there is not 1 problem that the book is based on. Dimitri talks to rose about her progress and that she should be taking it seriously.

Rose and lily went out to take a bit of rest bunking a class and a teacher saw them and told them to go to the counselor that moment the author concentrated on the thoughts and emotions that rose had, she was tired going to the counselor everyday for a new reason and thats where I end. think the author of this book really concentrates at the parts where the reader thinks "wow really!" Also this book includes action.

I am getting to know more about other characters rather than the main characters. In one scene of the book I loved how the author described amy because rose and lily were passing notes and amy told on them and the teacher read them out to the whole class at that certain point the way the author captured that moment and elaborated on it was really nice. The book is getting way more interesting and I cant wait.

Rose is very confused about who put the dead fox in lisa's dorm and is trying to find out more about this.I like how the author concentrates on the important parts but does move the story along very well. This book is very interesting and i am looking forward to reading the books in the series. I am noticing that rose has a very unusual character and I havent seen that in many books nowadays which I like.

On page 125 the relations between rose and Dimitri are getting better, he tells her the advantages of running laps and how that affects her ability to fight like a vampire. I think this book is going to get much more interesting as I go along. I think that dimitri is a very calm and innocent person who is very strong and knows how to fight. Rose on the other hand is a very unpolite girl who does not like running laps

I am on page 113 and rose is bonded with lisa so whenever something bad happens to one o them the other gets affected so when rose was in training she felt something and ran to her dorm there lisa was and saw a dead fox hung up. Lisa is very scared f things like that so she fainted immediately. I really like how the author emphasizes the climaxes very well which engages the reader. Dimitri and rose are very different

Mason helps rose adapt to the environment of the academy and explain to her why no to run away. The priest gave her a book about "The shadow Kiss"of lisas. She is not very sure what it means but I think it means awakening from the dead because of the context they are using it in. The authors style of writing is very nice because it has no to descriptive neither to long. It has the right amount of detail fascinating

As rose is adapting to the life at the academy, Lisa's cousin comes to the table and talks about rumours that are spreading rose. She is trying to adapt to the culture and is trying to fit in with the group. Dimitri is a big role model in the book, he always helps rose with her training and also making friends in the academy. The rules are very hard for rose to follow. Rose doesn't really care about anything .

The author is now giving more background information about the characters and the story line. This book is kind of like thee fifth wave writing wise because both books write each sentence or phrase with a lot of detail. I am starting to get to know more about Rose and her character traits, she is a very unique character and I have not seen this in a lot of books. Dimitri is seen as a very strong and sincere

This book had a very interesting beginning as the first sentence of the book "I felt her fear before I heard her screams" described the place and the emotions of the character but also hooked the character to read more and more of it. They dont really introduce the characters formally to the reader but they include it in the story in a very unique way. This book has a lot of hard words but i am enjoying this book.

I really like how the book is overall but I think it is taking it to far and I think there is a clif hanger at the end but I am not sure. The diary format is amazing because its unique and makes a bit more sense. As the book is not that fat it has a lot of detail but enough to keep the reader wanting to know more and more.

The end of the book was amazing because I did not expect it to happen it was a sudden show and that is what I like about this author because like normal stories do she would just become peter pan and the story would end but the ending this author gave was more fun to read. Most of the books I have read have an expected ending and i knew it would happen.

The author is slowing down the story now because abby has her audition today. I really liked how the author explained in detail each and every action of the characters because it makes it more interesting. This book in structure is a bit like the princess diaries because they both are in diary format and slow down the climax of the story. The difference is that reach for the stars is more of an lower reading level.

I really like how Mia agreed to take the interview. The author really focused on the interview part and described each and every action which created suspense in the story. As the chapters are so short its very easy to organise and its a very easy read. This book wants me to read more and more of it. As the book continues the suspense builds on and on.

This tells me that Abby is putting herself down against Brianna so she thinks she lost but I think Abby is making a plan to make Brianna fail. She asked her mom and dad for lessons but they said no so she now has to get lessons from her twin sister I am waiting to see what happens next?

This book is a quick read when you want a break from all of the fantasy and dystopian books. Its a very easy book to read where a girl named abby hayes faces problem in school because of a girl called Brianna. I think this book explores the fact that you are not good at everything some things you are better at and some things you can work on to become better.
