I thought this book was interesting, a veritable trip down memory lane. It was part memoir and part history; very well researched. The fact that the "Old Man" kept his livelihood such a secret from his son for so long is quite amazing, but it's a sad tale about a dysfunctional family. The author was worried that he would inherit the "Old Man's" tendencies. I don't think that is the case.
