another evening read romance for when i just shouldn’t read The Stand

so far the MC has never worked out, eats crap and yet still has a “pilates body” (this is directly stated) and gets winded running DOWN (!!!!!!!!) three flights of stairs. why her counterpart is enthralled with her is already beyond me - if someone of perfect health got winded running DOWNSTAIRS i don’t think we could ever go anywhere
