Why isn’t there a GoodReads for academic papers? I keep reading ones that sound eerily familiar (as if there aren’t enough academic papers to read). Which like, i cant be expected to keep track of all the pdfs with wrong doi numbers instead of names on my google drive. Is that what academia.com or whatever is supposed to be. GR sucks but like in a ‘its still in 2008’ way not im unusable way.

How about INSTEAD of reading 20 pages of required reading for class i just read THESE FOUR OTHER RANDOM BOOKS... because i have a problem w authority, or something, i guess???

For my birthday, I’d love for GoodReads to get a search algorithm that makes ANY sense whatsoever.

Why do people abridge books and seem to hide it in all the information???

The only nice thing about being bedbound sickly is that i get to spend a straight 11 hours reading.

i dont even read books tbh. i either audiobook them, or use voiceover on a kindle edition. and hot take but i read better when im not reading with my eyes.

How am i gonna get through a tbr list if i keep cheating on it with other books?

Just found out that my father’s been hoarding audiobooks on his audible and never even told me. Betrayal. But now i have access to hella new books so he’s forgiven.

I read like 45 books in 2018; but thats bc i spend 6 months not reading and then 6 months reading for school. This year im in school fulltime so lets try again for 100 books whoooo!!!
