Hunter Gibson is on page 15 of 375 of Food Cures: Fight Disease with Your Fork!
I feel like this book is going to take a very straight forward and how-to approach. The author uses sophisticated syntax and grammar, in tandem with a mildly satirical vibe towards actual medicine. This use of humor helps the author to "knock down" so to speak, the idea that medicine is better than food.

Essential Question: What was Chekhov's purpose for writing this short play?

Critical Question: How could the length of the play effect the impact the play leaves with the viewer/reader?

Hunter Gibson is on page 205 of 302 of My Heart and Other Black Holes
The author is starting to rely more and more heavily on relation to physics and equations to represent the logical and methodical nature of Aysel. There are 8 days left until the day they plan to kill themselves, and Aysel is becoming very sentimental about differents things, from noticing the color of her physics teachers eyes, to the acidic-sweet taste of orange juice.

EQ: How do different cultures and subcultures view suicide?
CQ: In "My Heart and other Black Holes", the protagonist is a suicidal teenage girl looking for a 'Suicide Partner', in "13 Reasons Why" the protagonist is a teenage boy listening to the previously recorded tapes about why a girl killed herself. How could you compare "My Heart and other Black Holes" to "13 Reasons Why"?

Hunter Gibson is finished with The Girl on the Train
I just finished the book and I can't even think straight. The climax was so mind blowing, I can't believe that Hawkins just... did that. I need another book, I need to find out how Rachel ends up.

I think I'm finding a new favorite genre, Hawkins has written in such a way that I feel my pulse in my ears when the characters do. I'm getting super close to the end and I can't wait to go see the movie.

I'm starting to remember why I like sappy and heartfelt books over thrillers. I'm also starting to remember that I enjoy breathing while I read. Needless to say, this book is getting super intense. The author is using tons of dialogue and a broad variation of syntax to better get across her point of making the book more suspenseful.

I seriously can't with this book. The way that Paula Hawkins has incorporated so many points of view is absolutely breathe taking. Though the use of three main characters points of view, she gives the real story as to what happened, as well as explaining the reasoning behind each characters reaction.

This book is starting to get really good. We are starting to see Tom's current wife, Anna, become a bigger character in the story line, she is also getting to share her point of view along with Rachel and Megan. The novel is picking up speed with new developments in the mystery disappearance of Megan in every chapter.

Okay, there's no turning back now. Each of the characters back stories are becoming clear now. Rachel has done something awful, but she can't remember what. She just knows she woke up to an angry voice message from Tom, a beat up body, and vomit on the stairs. Megan's brother is dead and has been dead for years, this is the cause of her panic attacks.
