The fact that Alex was willing to try to make things better with Linden even after their fight amazed me. Normally the silent treatment is the way to go, at least for me. It really shows how much he cares about her and how he hates letting her down.

I don't see why it matters anyway. If the couple is happy, then who is to tell them that they aren't worthy of each other. Actually, who is it say that the girl isn't worthy of the guy? It's not very fair that only the girls are being called unworthy. And it's all about the girls social standing, it makes no sense. Why can't people just get over it and let them be a couple without complaining?

I can see why Linden was upset when she was voted "unworthy", but I can also see why Alex didn't care what other people said about them. This book really relates to how school is, there is the "popular" people and the not so popular people. The groups don't socialize much just like how it was in the book. When every saw Linden and Alex on worthy, everyone saw a popular guy with a not so popular girl.

Overall, this book is pretty interesting. There are some parts in a couple stories that are kind of confusing because they jump around ideas a bit. I like the stories and the ideas of each one, but I wish they were longer and hooked me more.

I've noticed that many of the stories in this book are very similar. Many acknowledge other parts of each other. One story is focused on one object, and then the next story mentions the object.

This book is full of many stories that I have never heard of. Some of them make me think about why the characters did what they did. Some pages are somewhat confusing because of the way they were written. Overall, I really enjoy ghost tales.

As I am just starting this book, it seems really Interesting. It reminds me of a movie I saw once called "Barrio Tales". I wonder if I will read any of the stories that were in the movie.

I don't understand why those that found Luke wouldn't run away with him. Yes, they said that they wouldn't make it alive anyway, but still shouldn't they try? If I were in their situation, I would fight back, because everyday you don't do somethign is a day wasted that you can get back.

Why did the Population Police want Luke to shoot the lady? They are more than capable of doing it themselves. Why do they ruin kids by turning them into monsters? I understand why they wanted her dead, she disrespected them and it made them feel smaller than they wanted to be, but they doesn't mean she was in the wrong.

After reading about how Cassia chose Ky over her best friend, it made me wonder if she understood how her actions affected everyone else. She caused so much trouble and so much pain to other such as Xander. If I were her, I would've stuck to my match and thought about my actions.

I can't believe that she would choose Ky over Xander, doesn't she understand that she can ruin her friendship by doing that?! And Xander is her match...so she shouldn't be going around and liking other people, it's just not right. Ugh, what is she thinking?

How can Cassia love Ky? She was matched with Xander, and she is perfect for him, not Ky. She should stop hanging around Ky if he's going to ruin her chances with Xander. I understand how she can be confused about who she likes, but she's meant to be with Xander, and she should respect that.

I don't understand why they match people, why can't everyone make their own decisions about who they want to marry? I also don't understand why they have rules about what they can and can't do, like if they want to hold hands they should be able to without permission from the society. I would hate to live like that.

To think that Vince and Emerson started out homeless and suicidal was kind of upsetting, but to find that they ended up changing their thoughts and lifestyles made the book a bit more exciting. It's not impossible for dreams to come true, and this book shows that.

After thinking about the relationship between Vince and Emerson made me realize that relationships can make people do things that they normally wouldn't. I wonder if Vince realizes how wrong it is to ask Emerson to kill herself for him. I also wonder if Emerson is starting to suck up to him because she's scared to jump off the bridge.

I wonder if they will think about or consider making as many people happy as they can after they helped their new friends be in a band. Being homeless, it can be hard to give a lot, but it's different fir them now. They gave so much even though they had so little. I feel the world would be way better if everyone was as generous.

I was wondering why the little boy was sentenced to death and sent to jail. All he did was tell the truth. We have always been told to tell the truth because when we lie, we get into even bigger trouble. Yes, the judge did feel offended when he talked about dying, but that's no reason to sentence a child to death for telling the truth.

I hate how Hitler had German soldiers beat and take away Jewish people. They are just normal people minding their own business. It's really weird how Hitler only sent Jewish to concentrations camps, why didn't he send catholic or Lutheran people?

If my parents forced me to be the walking hospital for my sister I would also be very upset. But I would do it anyway because she's my sister. Although I can see why Anna was mad, I can also see why the parents made her do it. I think that they should've came to a compromise about the situation.

Sun jo, is 14 (the same age as Peak) and is trying to get to the top of mount Everest. That's supposed to be peaks title and Zopa planned to have Sun Jo climb it for the recognition. I would be really mad if I were Peak. Although Sun Jo will be 15 by the time they get to the top of the mountain, it was shady and rude. I would definitely be mad about someone else trying to steal my title if I were Peak.

Growing up without a dad must be tough, and stressful, maybe even depressing. Peak lived this life. He hasn't seen in dad in 7 years, until now. But just when he feels like he has his dad back, he was told not to call him dad, but Josh, for he hadn't earned the label of "Dad". If I were in Peaks situation, I would've climbed buildings too. Anything to get my dad back. I can't imagine how Peak felt when his dad left.

it to show everyone that I was the bravest 10 year old there. I did it to prove to myself that I could. I wanted to do it to feel accomplished and show myself that I could do it. If everyone was like peak, well...maybe there would be less bullying and even injuries. If peak would've fell off that building he could've died, but he knew his strengths, not everyone elses. He knew he could do it, he didn't want a kid to.

Peak is not your average rebel. He takes risks and completes dangerous tasks because he wants to. He doesn't do them to influence anyone or show them how good he is. All he wants is to do it for himself. I feel that everyone should be like that. Don't do something because some one told you to. Do it because you want to. It reminds me of this one time that I was going on the ropes course in the Kalahari. I didn't do

maybe even more clueless than me. In the book it said "But the good thing was, he didn't know, and that made it all easier." I believe that's relating to someone keeping a big secret from him. I wish I didn't know about everything that's going on because it would make it easier, a lot easier. Not knowing that something bad is going on is , well let's just say it makes it easier to get things dine cause you're not

I just started this book and I can't really stay focused. I'm not sure if that's because of everything that's on my mind, or if the books is confusing. So far, it seems like a depressing book so I might end up changing to a new book. Just getting back from vacation and all is stressful since I missed so much and have no clue what we are doing in ha;f my classes. I can connect to my character because they are clueless

Margo is an free spirited, adventurous teen. She showed up in Q's window. That night was the best night of his life. They broke into sea world, he was a get away driver, he even busted into someones car. Margo ad some great advice that I want to follow. She said that you need to live your life to the fullest, and take risks, because without that, it's a paper town filled with paper people. I wish I was more like her.
