The prologue made me wanna vomit and made me don't have a peaceful sleep last night (it's a terrible idea to read it before bed and alone in the room). I thought about quitting, but after I entered the 1st chapter about Silk Road this morning, I really enjoy the narration and it feels like I am reading a well-written crime fiction with full of plot-twists. I love the narration!

Reading this cause I don't want to surf the dark web by myself and challenge my psychology, yet I'm curious of what's inside. Thankfully I found the author's comment on Reddit that she wrote this book, so let's safely surf it 🏄‍♀️

Reminds me to a conversation with a friend. He told me about how God helped him in his hard moments, many times. And I asked "Why your 'odd' experiences makes you believe that God is real? What if it's just a coincidence?" A friend replied, "If it happens many times, it's not a coincidence anymore."

And yep, the retaliation feeling. It's annoying. But, I can learn to analyze the value of the favor received and determine who deserves a greater return. E.g. family is far more important than other people, so the cost would be greater (altho it's easy to take it for granted bcs they are my family).

And, keep in mind that some people do acts of kindness simply because they want to, not expecting anything in return.

6) Reciprocity
Iwould say that showing respectful attitude to the person who's e.g. giving us something, or politely refuse and in a graceful manner is a better advice. Acknowledging this fallacy doesn't mean we can immediately turn into an evil by throwing the gift in front of their eyes.

I'm taking a long-ass note on (5) Sunk Cost Fallacy. In short, if it's not worth it along the way, just leave it.

I've just read the introduction and I don't even do the basic principles xD And there are many terms that I need to learn and dig deeper.

I am still very new to coding stuffs, and I'll try to give myself time to learn. It may take time, but better making a slow progress than not taking any actions to be better.

This book is definitely helpful!

Defeat is not and end of everything, it's a cycle of life. One may be sad about their defeat, but they need to get up and try again. One day, it'll be the story that people can learn from.

Nothing is useless. Small things in our life that we do with love, can be rewarding at the right time. You may make the world a better place from your daily action.

Solitude is not a bad thing, we need it, even love needs rest.
