I didn’t read this fast enough before my library loan ended. I’ll have to get back in line to find out what happens with the magic pencil family.

I got halfway through this book but I just can’t read anymore. I know a lot of people love it but I’m finding it condescending and repetitive.

I gave up on this, it wasn't what I was expecting or in the mood to read now, it's very stream of conscious. I might try it again later as an audiobook.

Had to turn this back in to the library so I got back on the waitlist, I'd like to finish it.

I’ve had two kids turn 14 while this book has been on my shelf and I’m admitting that I haven’t read it.

Turns out I have less time to listen to audiobooks in the summer. Saving this for another time.

I increased the audiobook speed to 1.5x to try and finish this more quickly. It’s dragging!

I’m giving up on this book. I was drawn in by the title and the premise of a cozy mystery in an Asian shopping plaza but the writing is terrible, I just can’t go on.

I’m about halfway though and she’s losing me. I made it through a whole chapter on QVC and now in this chapter she’s giving commentary on her favorite Sex and the City episodes. I’ll give it a little more but this is not really interesting for me.

I’m giving up on this one. It jumps around in time and character perspective and I’m having trouble following it on audio. I might give it another try in print.

Not going to finish this, the characters are not likable, the timelines are hard to follow and I don’t really care what happened.

This has too many similarities to The Love Hypothesis, I’m going to wait and read it sometime later.

This is a DNF for me. I listened to it on audio and while I enjoyed hearing the author tell her own stories and I admire her candor about her illnesses, it didn’t hold my interest.

This one is not for me, I’m bailing.
