I’m thoroughly enjoying everything about this book so far…except the pet name ‘Berry’…

On if my mist anticipated reads this year and I can struggling to care or finish it.
This makes me so incredibly sad.

I think I’m in a toxic relationship with this book…I love it, I hate it…it makes me swoon and then rips my heart out. Help 🫠

Ugh…I think I could maybe enjoy this for what it is, a smutty good time, without much plot.
But…unfortunately there is something that keeps taking me out of it. Specifically, in the dirty talk…referring to, or calling a partner in an MM romance after female anatomy, is a weird choice and honestly giving me the ick.

Soft DNF for now…it’s not you, it’s me 😆 (I think)
I’m so slumpy right now that I fear this may happen with nearly any book I try to pick up.

Taking a break, in a slump and haven’t picked this up in 2 weeks

This book was perfectly fine...only for whatever reason I just couldn't get into it. I didn't have the urge of desire to read it...and eventually I put it down, moved on and gave up on trying again.
