Lisa is reading All About Me! My Remarkable Life in Show Business
Absolutely a joy. I listened to the audiobook. It was like sitting with Mel and listening to him tell me his life in show business. I didn’t want it to end.

Lisa is reading The Handmaid’s Tale (The Handmaid's Tale, #1)
I read this book 30 years ago. I listened to it on audiobook and as always, am stunned at Atwood’s writing. She has been one of my favorite authors for decades.

Handmaid’s Tale is frightening, because it could happen. Women are stripped of their rights and turned into breeding machines. Atwood creates a fearful world, and one that is too real.

I loved this book of myths and fables. It’s a great collection and I highly recommend it. I am going to read the author’s other works

Lisa is reading Then She Was Gone
I listened to the audiobook, which took a little while to get used to the narrator. The narrator is a fast-talking British woman. Once I could understand her, I enjoyed the novel.
It is about a 15-yr-old girl who went to the library and never came home.
Tragic and complex, her disappearance touched so many people. It was a well-written whodunnit.

Lisa is reading The Shape of Water
I saw the movie first and then wanted to read the book. I was pleased that the book was very similar to the movie and provided some additional insights to each character.
It’s a great story of love and acceptance. I listened to the audiobook, and the only negative is the narrator, who is a bit childish in voice. When she attempts a Russian accent, it sounds silly. But, I definitely recommend this book.

Lisa is reading You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost)
I listened to the audiobook, read by the author. Felicia Day is funny, amazing, and brilliant. She talks about being homeschooled, and earning two college degrees: math and music. She succeeded in her career, in Hollywood the hard way; she learned everything about gaming online and the internet herself and developed The Guild online web series.
It’s so positive & enjoyable
