I lost interest on this one. It did get good at the end but about 500 pages of this was the same ol same ol. This could have been a trilogy and it feels like a money grab.

So far it feels overhyped...😬

I went from reading Magnolia Parks (gave 1 star) and I am about 1/3 through this and I also don't get the hype. My conclusion is I think I need multiple plot lines in a book. If the only reason to read is to see if they end up together in the end I just don't have any desire to finish. I love Romantasy because I get a love story with a whole fairytale. I may not be able to read any more contemporary romance.

You know the feeling when you are on a merry-go-round and at first it's fun but then you get nauseous and it slings you off. That was my experience reading this.

Basically a book about a bunch of people always mad at each other

DNF but not because it was bad I just got what I needed from it. I don't need in depth analysis of the biblical stories and the first quarter of the book answered my questions.

1) Catherine is spicy and I love to see it
2) She loves the word ejaculated

This is entirely gossip at this point...

This whole book is about a girl who can't get off her damn shoes 💀

A protagonist who is a nihilist. Relatable 🧚🏻

Why is every thriller about a married couple on the verge of divorce?

I didn't know it was possible that a book could make you feel no emotions.
