Interesting! The account of the crime, the trial, and the Thompson Dickens clan is excellently written and described. The author makes some stylistic choices I don’t like, including switching from past to future tense in the same paragraph or sections of writing. The chapters are written in sections, and it can feel like it jumps around a lot. Not a fan of the memoir parts of the book.
