😘 I saw that Infinite Jest shout out.
Okay, Mr. King, you are one of a kind for sure.

I came out of the break room at work last week and saw the cover of this book, which I had never read. I knew the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 was coming soon. I didn't buy that copy but the vision of the cover kept flashing in my mind until I got an online version.
I am surprised by the depth of the Beamers' Christian experience over a lifetime. It is described at a level I couldn't have comprehended in my early 30's.

So glad this was sitting in the exact place my eyes fall when I am walking to the back of the store I work in. I have checked it out a couple of times from OpenLibrary.com but I always end up letting it automatically return. Now maybe it won't disappear until I finish it. :)
