I’m enjoying the essays in this collection. It’s interesting to read the work of a writer of such high regard. I can see why she was respected. For me, growing up in Sydney Australia, in a time and place quite different to when and where these essays were written, I couldn’t connect with her stories but I’m finding them interesting anyway because Ms Didion was an excellent writer.
