I got to book 6 in this series before and unfortunately if you’d asked me anything that happened from 4 onwards I’d have nothing to say… so time for round two!

I’m almost finished this book but need to get a complaint off my chest - why are there so many characters who get severely injured and everyone tells them “oh you have to rest for a few days you nearly died” and then they go eh whatever and go about life? It’s even worse when they are a healer themselves or whatever cause they should know better? Lie down and rest! This is a fantasy pet peeve of mine

Started this earlier today and have been absolutely devouring it so far, but adding it to my currently reading has made me realise it is the first in a trilogy which is absolutely devastating... I just know it's gonna end on a cliff hanger and I'm gonna be desperate for the sequel
