Though I do think this series could easily have been condensed into two books given the plot, it was a fun read as I have come to expect from this author:-)

So far I am getting very much a Big Little Lies vibe, but fingers crossed it won't be too similar, though I did enjoy that book quite a lot.

I think I need to set this aside for a bit. I was really excited and hoping to love this as much as so many readers did, but I've read 20 chapters and though the writing is beautiful, I am so bored by the story. Not giving up on it entirely, but sadly now is not the right time, I guess.

Not bad, but am I the only one confused with the many POVs and switch between first and third person?

I'm obviously in the minority, but this book is fairly boring to me. Now I've read half of it, though, so I guess I will persevere. What are your thoughts, if you've read it?
