What’s scarier than a Nazi? Well, perhaps a Nazi high on an ungodly amount of meth. Yes, I think that probably would be scarier.

I’m quite enjoying this. Funny, though. I heard it was supposed to be scary, terrifying, even. But somehow I find the experience of reading it…soothing, comforting…I think part of that comes from just how hard it is to wrap your head around it. The puzzle leaves little room for fear or angst or melancholy. It’s like I can feel my mind… lulling my soul to sleep, and there’s a peculiar contentment in that.

Well…I knew this book would be scary…but that intense anal fingerblasting scene was a bit more than I expected…

Oh, God. This is going to be a bumpy ride. I’m intrigued, but still seems a bit early in the book for me to be developing a headache…

Why, Bella? Why hurt Charlie like that? Wh…wh…why…?

Wish I could be all dark and mysterious like Edward. But alas, I’m simply too much of a puppydog by nature. Cursed by my creator to be ever an open book. Perhaps ninety or so years of vampirism would fix that. A man can always dream.
