Book splurge!

Cuz if I'm gonna be poor it's gonna be for a good reason.

I didn't realize how many Jo Goodman books I had on my Kindle. And, my gosh, how many Jennifer Blake books! I need to get to work.

For some reason I seem to be really into 800+ page books at the moment.

We're not yet to the end of January and I'm already considering my first DNF of 2024. The book is just not grabbing me.

When you go to make a critique of a flawed ebook but it's already been taken down.

What is going on with GoodReads? The website is changing up my books and their dates read.

I see hockey romances are making a comeback.

Wee, book splurge!!

GoodReads once again saves me from buying a book I've already read.

I'm in that in-between space. What is it called? When you've just finished a book but you're not sure what you're in the mood for next.

I'm sitting on that precarious fence, trying to decide if I want to stay with the book I'm currently reading or if I should chuck it.

What a day. I had intentions of reading one book only to discover the digital edition I have is missing the first 6 chapters! So I go to a second book. I'm pretty well into it until I learn I had already read this book years ago. Have a review of it here on GR. I'm just not meant to read today, I guess.

This irks me. The scene involves the myth of Psyche and Cupid (which is correct) when mere pages later it's turned into the myth of Psyche and APOLLO. How did no one catch this before it hit the printers?

Oh no, the Dr. Sebi bots are back.

Argh! Just accidentally stumbled upon a major spoiler for the book I am currently reading. And it is GoodReads' fault for having it right there at the top in the book description. Why, GoodReads, why?

Why has it been lately that when I come to GoodReads I see someone has posted a review about a Dr. Sebi and his/her miracle cure for everything?
