I’m only in Chapter 5 and have noticed three anachronisms so far. 1) In the 1950s, grocery store chicken was not injected full of additives and chemicals like it is today and a teenage girl would not have made a conscious choice to avoid it. 2) Office cubicles weren’t used until the late 1960s and ‘50s teenager wouldn’t have dreaded a life in one. 3) D-1 was not a college athletics category until the 1970s.
