Definitely a lot of CIA inside baseball. I'm looking up something every 3 or 4 pages. The language, terminology and information treats the reader like an insider/adult with no spoon feeding. He states something and moves on. He assumes the reader is with him for the ride. I am loving that aspect. I feel like it's reading like living in an alternate life. It could be frustrating.. but not for me so far

Chapter 12 and 13. What the crap. We have come a long way as a society. Super cringy. Pilots sleeping with stewardesses getting them pregnant, the airlines helping to assist with abortions & adoptions so staff could continue to work and not quit to stay home and raise kids. Effectively assists the pilots (married men) in allowing affairs to occur without spouses. The women seem to have no agency and the men.. vile.
