It’s okay. It’s not totally compelling. And the back and forth timelines are not great. But I want to see where this is going.

It’s not funny in any way.

I wasn’t ready for that twist.

The book has me gagged. I was not ready for whatever is happening. I’m very shook.

This is a pretty generic, cliche romance novel. I thought it would be more interesting because of the premise but it has all the regular cliches. Evil wife. “In love” with someone they met that second. It was wildly unenjoyable. But I’m going to finish it because I’m this far.

Rereading this story and I’m still enthralled with how it plays out.

There are three storylines in this book that I just don’t care about in anyway. With so many plots, it cuts away from the suspense a little too often. It’s only just gotten interesting about halfway through and that’s because the majority of the first half is setup about the people who are tied to the interesting part.

Interesting read. I’m hooked. It’s a really scary premise.

I’m kind of annoyed because of the two perspectives. It takes a lot of the mystery out of it. And I just don’t care one bit about this character. He’s fickle and his actions don’t make the most sense.

I enjoyed the first book when it went back and forth between the killer and the detective. But it’s starting to take the mystery out of the story. And this time around, the motive doesn’t entirely add up. It’s plausible, but it’s also overplayed.

Still not sure what to believe. And who to trust. But I love the characters immensely and I want things to turn out well for them.

I don’t know who to believe. Or what to believe. I’m definitely not sure which way this story is going but I’m invested.

At the beginning, I was like, “why are we delving so deeply into these people’s lives?? I am here for the mystery! I don’t care!”

Me, now: /sobbing/ I care so much!!

I’m on a roller coaster of emotion. And Debra’s the worst.
