This book is awesome!! I’m actually crying.

Mmmm…no vines or trees on crawlers ledge to grab like the book says the FMC used. It’s pure rock going up and pure rock going down to waves crashing on stone and an 18” ledge to creep along with nothing to hold onto. I know not everyone reading this lovely escapism book has backpacked that trail. But some of us have. Elizabeth O’Roarke - please use me in future to add details like this. I’ve been all over

Oh my goodness I’m loving this! Having backpacked the Kalalau trail years ago before it was exploited on social media, I can say I am so curious how this next half of the book is going to go. This was just the story I needed in the midst of a crazy time in life. Great escape reading.

This is my first book by this author but I’m seeing her brilliance for story weaving. Loving it.

Not as intriguing as I had hoped for. Shelving for now.

Interesting plot and characters. But a little slow so far. Going to come back to this in a bit.

Why do I torture myself and read books before the entire series has been released? I’m not ready to leave things hanging….
