I’m a sucker for Elinor Lipman’s writing style and this book was another fun one from her. This book reminds me of one of my favorite movies: While You Were Sleeping. Both have unique / quirky plot lines, odd ball characters, and endearing dialogue. A solid 4 stars!

I absolutely adored this book! I love it when books have sentences that are so well-written that I have to reread them when I come across on them and this book had a number of those gems! If you like character-focused books, you’ll love this!
