A classic, I believe, and not without interest. But I found myself skimming through a lot of it. I could imagine it making a good film though, as the characters were intriguing.

I enjoyed all the interjections of Spanish in this novel and I liked the idea of the stories coming from
the grave. I enjoyed it, but it didn’t pull me in as much as I’d hoped.

DNF. I got fed up with the dialect - not one I easily understand and so it spoiled the book for me. That’s not to say that others still not enjoy it, however.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. An exciting, no details spared, account of Barb and Larry’s 2-year cycle trip around the world, from 79-81
