This book is so much more than a recap of Virginia's encounters with Andrew (he is mentioned over a few pages). An explanation of how a victim can feel so in debt to their abuser, even though it doesn't feel right. Awful to read, though I feel I must hear her story out.

Harrowing to read, even when only a few pages in....

I haven't read a mystery like this before. Am so intrigued to know what is going on!

So good! I didnt want to get off the bus on my way to work as it meant I had to stop reading!

The New Times are quoted on the front cover as saying 'You can't stop reading, even as you want to look away".

This sums up exactly how I feel!

Very unsure about this book as I am halfway through and we aren't at Northanger Abbey yet. I was drawn to the book by the Dorset reference in the blurb but not much relates to that. Will stick at it, but the jury is out at the moment.....

The blurb on the back of the book had a quote from David Baldacci 'I defy you to read the first chapter and not singe your fingers reading all the rest. It's that compelling, it's that good'

WOW how right he was! Have had to tear myself away to get the children to bed having read through to page 235 in one sitting! Fantastic

Love a book that makes me read faster and faster in the final chapters. Really enjoyed this story about family relationships and modern day risks to privacy. Really well written. Will seek out other books by Fiona Neill.

Am so glad I went with my gut feeling from the blurb and started this book. A couple of the reviews left me unsure but I am really enjoying it so far.

Haven't been able to read properly, for various reasons, over the last three months. Think this one has helped me get back to it! Was gathering dust with the book mark on page 4 - opened it again today and haven't stopped. Real Page Turner.

Think the little glimpse of the outcome at the beginning has got me craving to know more about the story.

Very enjoyable so far!

51% in the first sitting and I really do not want to put this down but first day back at work tomorrow after the flu and MUST get some sleep. Fantastic read, am hoping that looking forward to the rest of the book will get me through the day tomorrow!
