Don't mistake this for me not liking this book but we as a society really need to start coming up with a plan on how to abolish "romance lessons" as a trope.

I'm trying to be open minded but I'm only a few pages in and I just don't understand. Are we supposed to ignore that The Witch's Ghost exists then?? Why are we just changing the lore like this???

Some logistical Qs before I forget: If it's hard af to get a dragon to bond with a rider to begin with and a rider's bond with a dragon is SO strong when it does then why do unbonded people still feel they have a chance to bond if they kill that dragon's rider and also if the Threshing is SUCH a big deal then why is there a chance for unbonded riders to bond after like might as well not have the Threshing then HUH?
