Just turned 50 this year and I'm not gonna lie......I'm in full-on midlife crisis. Personally and professionally, a girl needs some help!.....Here's to self-help option one........

If Marly trips over another object or falls down again in some other gratuitous manner in the authors attempt to be funny, I am throwing this book out the window.

The protagonist, Charlotte, is a horrible human being. She's selfish, immature and annoying. However, the authors ( who I normally love) make her out to be an enlightened free spirit who will "educate" the successful rich people who clearly have a stick up their ass.......she's ruining this book. For the first time I am Team 1%'er.

This is absolutely hysterical.

I initially read this 7 years ago with a solid 4.5. Now I'm seeing it in a completely different light. I love me some angst but is Abby a complete bitch and Travis a psychopath? Just wonderin'.

One sign that you're a little book obsessed........you don't realize that you've already read a book until your 75% of the way in.

I HATE novellas. I keep trying to read them because people seem to love them. However, there is zero time for character development and it's all insta-love. Ugh, moving on.

When do you call it a day when a series you love jumps the shark?.....I question those that loved....God, even liked, this book......zero chemistry and sooooo boring......but I adore Loretta Chase. *sigh*

Absolutely loved the 1st two books in this series but I may have to DNF this one. Heroine is a complete idiot.

Omg, a fucking Bob Loblaw reference. I'm in heaven...........unfortunately, this will be lost on most people. (Yes, Arrested Development is the best t.v. show ever.)

This book has been sitting on my kindle for months. So glad I gave it a go. If you like insta-love romances, this isn't for you. If you are realistic and like an intelligent, slow burn romance, then grab this now. So good.
