I still like this book. It’s interesting to see recent events such as Parkland and the Harvey Weinstein scandal in a book so soon.

The next chapter is about Civil Rights. They talked about the 1960’s but also mentioned Wounded Knee. I don’t remember learning about Wounded Knee in history, so it was something new to me.

I like it so far. The first few chapters give a detailed description of the history of the Reagan family, which can get confusing with all the names.

I liked this chapter. It mostly covered Al Qaeda and Bin Laden. I found it interesting.

The next chapter is about war. So far it mostly covers Vietnam. One reporter tells a story of how he traveled with soldiers and how they were shot at. A bullet went through his pants but didn’t injure him.

The first chapter is made up of NYT articles about the Presidental campaigns of Truman, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, Obama, and Trump. The only President whose section I didn’t like like was Bush 43’s. His section was all about Bush v. Gore and said nothing about his campaign. I liked the section on JFK the most because it gave insight on campaign strategies and how he’d hold rallies at 1:30 AM
