I need someone to post the ending spoiler for this book. I'm not liking it but do want to know the end. I have 4 more torturous hours left...put me out of my misery please.

I wish I was enjoying this more. I love this author but this one... the hero is named S.T. That doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. He also immediately falls in love with the heroine who is so cold I can’t imagine why he even likes her let alone loves her. I’m so close to dnfing this but it got good reviews by friends....

This book refers to a “girl” as a harridan, which by definition is an OLD woman. Ugh. My two buddy read partners dnf this one, so we will see how I fare.

Mothers and governesses ought to spend more time instructing young ladies in the importance of destroying incriminating evidence and less time bothering with good posture and harp lessons and so forth.

I’m worried there won’t be time for sufficient groveling, and boy does this hero need to grovel.

The final Hathaway book. I think I’m avoiding reading this because I don’t want it to end!

I started this because I read that it was “hilarious”. Haven’t found it funny yet. I may set it aside for now.

Ok this book is hilarious. I love the narrator! I wish more books were this hilarious.

I love a strong heroine!

I’m really not thrilled with the male narrator. He’s 19 and sounds 90.

I'm listening to the audible version. It's like a performance! Such an awesome audiobook.

I'm listening to this, and the narrator does a really good job. I'm so mad at Frances right now. I'm not sure there's enough time for her to redeem herself in what time I have left.

I'm pretty sure the heroine is the scoundrel. I like the hero well enough, but the heroine is awful. This book is very overrated and disappointing.

This book is so meaty with some great humor thrown in as well.

I have to say I'm already disappointed. I have about 3 hrs left in the audio, and so far it's just ok. Typically a Penny Reid book for me is 4 stars. I'm at 2 now (maybe a 1.5) and honestly only finishing it because it's a Reid book. I'm bored with the plot, and the female narrator is not my favorite.

I really enjoyed the first in this series, so I'm really looking forward to this one.

I'm going to have the biggest book hangover from this book! I'm trying to listen to it every chance I get.

Dnf. May try again another time.

I'm about 2 hrs in and I almost fist pumped in the middle of Costco! Loving this book.

Not my favorite Cherry book. She's a great writer, but I didn't click with this one like I do with her others. AND I wanted to love it, but it was just ok and not as believable as the others.

So far this book is awesome. It reminds me of Devil Wears Prada and the Bridget Jones Diary book. Love it
