I ignore so many unrealistic things in these books but I just can’t accept getting changed 30 minutes before a game* or arriving at the airport 30 minutes before departure**

*after getting changed they jog a mile, stretch, and run drills to warm up before serve
**with a whole dysfunctional team of college athletes with sports gear

girl is so down bad she can tell the shade of his eyes in the middle of a storm in the middle of the night and also detect his signature deep-sea scent while out on the sea (how can one even know what the deep sea smells like? I am uncertain)

I think knowing the next book was “Agamemnon’s Day of Glory” gave me a mental block for 2 weeks bc who wants to read that.
