no one:
Blue: fate and your glorious legs can’t tempt ME

lowkey entirely forgot those two had a thing

I too have a shirt that says I like big books and I cannot lie (courtesy of the Rice English department)

romance books have such interesting vocabularies sometimes why are we chirruping in surprise

so Oliver is Richard, James is Henry/Charles, Alexander is Francis, Richard is Bunny (with a touch of Henry), Meredith is Camilla, and Filippa and Wren are yay more female characters aka other facets of Camilla that famously underdeveloped character. any questions

fyi no one has died yet

So Oliver is Richard, James is Charles, Alexander is Francis, Richard is Henry, Meredith is Camilla, and Filippa and Wren are yay more female characters any questions

although perhaps James is Henry and Richard is Bunny…who needs Charles anyway

So Oliver is Richard, James is Charles, Alexander is Francis, Richard is Henry, Meredith is Camilla, and Filippa and Wren are yay more women characters any questions

a quote from “Madeline Miller, author of Circe” on the cover of the book I happen to pick up after Circe 🤨🤨

y’all what is happening

This isn’t even a stopping point I just have to say NORA YOU CAN’T DO THAT STOP IT I AM NOT DOING WELL

reading for Jean’s insults, his teammates butchering French, and Barkbark

I ignore so many unrealistic things in these books but I just can’t accept getting changed 30 minutes before a game* or arriving at the airport 30 minutes before departure**

*after getting changed they jog a mile, stretch, and run drills to warm up before serve
**with a whole dysfunctional team of college athletes with sports gear

girl is so down bad she can tell the shade of his eyes in the middle of a storm in the middle of the night and also detect his signature deep-sea scent while out on the sea (how can one even know what the deep sea smells like? I am uncertain)

these characters are giving exceedingly heterosexual
