The only reason I’m not sitting in a puddle of my tears right now is because I’ve had to dissociate as much as possible to not be destroyed. Or maybe I’m just a cold hearted bitch. My heart physically aches and I’m nauseous. What’s worse is that I know things could have been even worse by now. Downhill we continue going.

One look at that trigger warning page has all my hopes for a HEA disappear.

My sister gave me a look when she saw me walk into the hall with my book and tea. This might turn out to be my freakiest read yet.

Finally starting this beautiful special edition with the second book announced. Will snag a copy if I end up loving it 👀💳🔥

So I’m still reading this. I’m not sure if it’s because the book has gotten a tad bit better or because I’m a masochist…

I’m struggling with this one. The writing isn’t doing it for me. But I’ll try to read some more before giving up on it.

I admit reading about death, ghosts, and a maze in the dark as we approach the witching hour wasn’t my best idea tonight. I am spooked.

There’s a glossary, map, and details about the founding families. Looks like I’m going to make some coffee since I have to use my brain despite it being close to midnight. Let’s goooo.
