DNF @ 88%. WTF is up with this book. There is to many extremes to make this story likable. When my palm hit my forehead for the umpteenth time I had to throw in the towel 🙄.

DNF! This book is male chauvinism at its finest! Yuck.

DNF this series at 2 and 3/4s books. This series just fizzled out for me. I couldn't even
finish this one. Daemon and Katy have zero chemistry. Zero. Katy has more chemistry with herself than anyone else in this series. I am throwing in the towel on this one.

DNF @ 42% This was just plain old awful! Nothing is worse than pages full of internal dialogue. Also, for those of us who haven't read the marked men series, the name dropping was a bummer. So and so's cousins/husbands/brother and all his best buds that somehow have to do with this story but not really... No thank you!

At 58% and I am really struggling with this book. I am not a masochist! I really don't enjoy slow painful sadness. I know where this story is going and I just don't want to go with it. Maybe one day I will pick this book back up but only when I am in need of a good cry. Until then bring on the happy!

DNF at 69%. I have no explanation to why I couldn't finish this. Sorry Colleen Hoover! I sincerely hope this is the one and only time I shelve one of your books. :-/

DNF at 65%. I just can't deal with extreme emotional rollercoaster that goes along with A. L. Jackson's books. These characters are both so self loathing and pitiful that I had to wrap it up and shelf it. I need a little happiness in my life after this...

I am having a really hard time with this one. I think I am the only person on Goodreads that finds Becoming Calder incredibly boring. It is really a sad day when I put a book down after suffering through 85%. I just can't possibly read another page.

DNF @ 61%. I should have known I wasn't going to finished this when I was skipping paragraphs in the first chapter. The is absolutely zero depth to this story.

I am bored with this. Not quiet as good as the first...

I am really struggling with this book. There are so many things that I dislike about this book that I am not going to waste any more of my -reading- time to list them. Back on the shelf it goes.
