I’m sorry, what?! She “snapped her fingers” at her dragon?! They “dismissed” their dragons?! The indignity. I do NOT like dragons written this way. The rest of the story is fine so far.

About 1/3 of the way through and all I can think is that the Dregs would NEVER let their personal correspondence fall into the hands of the investigators… Kaz’s personal letter to INEJ? Honestly he would probably keep it in the pocket just inside his coat next to his heart. So it must be a trick? It’s got to be a trick or this is the highest breech of character.

I love this book.

I thought, with a title so obviously referencing Stone Butch Blues, that this book would be similar in some way to that one. But nearly halfway through and I’m not seeing it. STB was a gut punch. I hope this manages to measure up by the end.

I don’t love this one. At this point I’m continuing to read purely to find out what the heck is going on.
