DNF at pg 50, I enjoyed the first book, but I just can't get into the sequel...

Interesting story, but it really lost my interest and put me in a reading slump. I might try finishing it another time.

I just want this to be over...

I’m hoping this starts getting more into the ethics of their world, right now I just can’t stand Ruth and the little dramas....

I really felt like the author just dragged out all possible problems to the very end of the book which made the conclusion not as interesting as I thought it could have been. By the end the main character was kindoff killing me with all of her actions, but it made for a good heroine despite all of her own issues. I’m glad I read it.

So Far the premise of the book is rather interesting, this take on I guess Trolls, or Kanin as they are called in the book have an intricate background while still holding on to some of the stereotypical attributes of trolls from fairytales.

I hope she leaves Aspen in the dust! Maxon is the only guy that I think would make her truly happy

I'm really liking the prince and I'm very interested to see how the story will develop, especially after he chooses her. (I'm assuming he will choose the main character)
