Friends… I went to bed last night with 25 pages left of this book… that really tells me all I need to know right there… 😩😬

When the book has been predictable every step of the way… until the heroine has a melt down at the last minute and doesn’t trust all the people she loves and cares for. I didn’t see that coming, but not in a good way 🤨🙃

It should be telling that I decided to retire this book for the night at 86% instead of finishing it..

Might be DNF-ing but trying to power thru.

Idk what is about this book… possibly writing style, but it is so hard to keep my focus on this book. It feels like it’s taking forever to get thru…

This was going well until the FMC decided to reject everything she knew about her very precarious and dangerous situation and did some very stupid things… honestly, at this point her actions are feeling very OOC and what started as an intriguing read is turning into one I’m just trying to get thru and finish…
