It is all overly proper and not realistic. Obviously it’s a supernatural romance but I’m getting caught up on the conversations between all the characters. It feels like a teen wrote this.

I like it but then it got to the sex with all the shadows at once & I just don’t think it’s my kind of thing

I was getting bored so I will come back. And I don’t think supernaturals with several sex parts invading all at once is my thing.

Had to stop reading.. too many Lola Glass books. Bored

Ok. I’m starting chapter 14 & I feel like this could’ve been a good book. Even beyond the opening sequence where somehow a woman who’s been abused & triggered can just start getting a guy off… I was still hopeful.
But… having a panic attack because of the way Aev grabbed her wrist but then at another point telling him she likes to be bossed around in bed… *sigh*
