I started out liking this book, then I didn’t and then in the end I kind of liked it again. All in all; I’m not terribly enthusiastic about this book. The west is misery, and McCarthy tells that well, but there is very little else and as a result the book starts to drag. There are plenty of horrible characters, but since there’s no likeable ones I thought this was a tough read.
