<spoiler> At least Gabe and Raedyn found a way to communicate in a small way so that he could tell her to open the hatch and go to the other bubble that contained the dead version of herself, close the hatch and then she'd have 18 more hours of air. She can do this each time she starts to run out. </spoiler>

I'm so happy that this book is 100% better than the first one.

Here's how the author describes a woge. (In moments of stress or extreme emotion, they transformed—woged—and revealed their true nature. But the transformation was visible only to a Grimm. Other humans were unaware of the change in appearance—unless the Wesen chose to reveal its true face to them) Exactly like the series instead of how the author thinks is should be as in book 1

This author already "gets it" much more than the previous author. Even though I've just started the book, it seems that the characters are more true to the tv series than in book 1. Here's how this author describes Nicks heritage. (he was a Grimm—descended from a long line of Grimms that included his mother and his late Aunt Marie.)

This book is already starting out better than the last one. “This novel takes place between “The Waking Dead” and “Goodnight, Sweet Grimm.” Excerpt From: Passarella, John. “Grimm: The Chopping Block.” Titan Books. iBooks. This material may be protected by copyright.

Ok now Nick is so stupid that someone calls him up & says they have information about the death of his father and he falls for it. Then goes to meet the guy and doesn't use his "psychic sensing" that he's had throughout the rest of this book to know that there are 3 Wesen who knock him out and take him. He couldn't even get his hand loose from the guy who held onto it after shaking hands. Seriously?

“Kelly Kessler had married a Grimm named Burkhardt.” Excerpt From: John, Shirley. “Grimm - The Icy Touch.” Titan, 2013-09-19T11:39-06:00. iBooks. This material may be protected by copyright. Ok correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Nick's MOM the Grimm not his dad? So again I ask, has John Shirley watched any of the Grimm episodes? I can barely finish this book because of this horrible author.

I hope I'm not being rude and I probably won't receive a response, but I just went to John Shirley's blog and asked him if he's ever watched Grimm.

I guess this guy either doesn't watch all the episodes in the show or thinks his way is better. Whatever the case, I don't like it. It seems like Hank & Nick don't get along very well, Juliette doesn't really want to be with Nick, Nick is a cursing ass and Monroe is kind of wimpy. Seriously?

Oh wow! I'm not liking this author at all! It's hard enough for me to overlook the grammatical and punctuation errors, but the worst part is the portrayal of the characters. As I'm reading, I'm thinking to myself that Nick would never say that or Hank isn't that mean.

This author is driving me NUTS with all of his commas, fragmented sentences and run on sentences. He puts a comma after every little thing. He also tries to make sentences after a couple of words i.e. Jaguar people. Ugh!!! Plus the characters personalities are not that of the ones on the tv show that I watch and love. The story is good so far. I just hope I can finish reading with his awful writing style.

This woman in the book is seriously getting on my nerves. She has everything (and then some) that she's ever wanted in a man and what does she do? She gets mad at him for every little thing he does! I don't know why she even stays with him if she's going to stay mad at him all the time. Her personality could've been written a little better. It's hard to "root" for her when she's such a B****!

Well I very much enjoyed Gone Fishing by Douglas & Child. I also liked the fact that they give you the backstory on the characters in the story. Great job guys! On to the next.

I'm enjoying the book so far. It's set in Canada so I don't completely know all the political jobs that are being talked about but I do enjoy trying to guess who the killer is. It began at a political thing when Andy Boychuk starts to give a speech, takes a sip of water then drops dead.

Jo finds the mysterious paper with a poem written on it instead of Andy's speech. At the top is an A and an E intertwined like on a wedding invitation. She at hat moment thinks Andy's wife, Eve, could possibly be the killer and asks another of Andy's employees, Howard if he thinks its possible.

I'm loving this book so far but I can't understand Mae's hatred for someone she's loved so much for most of her life. She seems like an incredibly spoiled brat to me although I do understand the point of where the angers supposed to be coming from in her. I'm anxious to continue in her journey.
