Reading with Harper for her school book competition

I thought I would just put a toe in and now I’m having to fight myself from staying up until midnight to finish this book in one sitting!

Ugh this book is so good!

I'm obsessed with this book right now. I had to take a moment this morning to pause the audiobook for a delighted squeal in the car - making my children ask me to "calm down." A command I completely ignored.

I have now tried twice to read this book and have finally just put it down. The main female character is too immature for words. I know she is an autistic character but eating Dino shaped chicken nuggets and throwing carrots drenched in ranch at your sister, only to hit the main male character, is ridiculous and this was not the only over-the-top behavior. This type of nonsense does not happen to adults in the world.

I’ve been in a terrible reading slump and have returned to a beloved read to break it!!

I needed something way kinkier, and well just weirder, than the holiday fare was offering me. This fits the bill!

I like the first book in this series and I’m in love with this book so far! I’ve squealed with delight too many times already. I cannot wait to finish this book tomorrow!
