Outstanding of all the social science / psychology books I have read. I am reading and listening to this book. Hard to put down. I purchased the Kindle, Audible and hard copy. I know I will be using this book for reference for many years to come.

I can assure from the reading of the introduction of this book that I am going to savor every word this author has written! I feel connected to Anne Lambert's style and wit. I am going to read this book slowly and reverently... a delicious read. Big smile.

This series is riveting and there are plenty of LOL moments regarding the main female character, a detective Two things I have mention is the series is a bit too graphic for my tastes when it comes to crimes scenes and descriptions of the murders. I usually stick to Cozies so this series is on the edge for me, . Another thing. I have known plenty of female cops. None of them of obsess over fashion- not in budgets.

Oh my gosh! I am loving this book already. It hits the spot for what I need in my life right now. I am listening to the Audible version and following along with the book. Kate Mulgrew's narration is superb!!

Although I am enjoying the author's descriptions of and experiences with Charley, his poodle, I keep getting bogged down in parts that are not about Charley. Maybe that is just me loving dogs though. The book shares more about the author and his views as he travels rather than about a man traveling with his dog. So far I am wondering more about what Charley thought of traveling with Steinbeck the man.

I adore Celia Kinsey as books, so I find myself reading them slowly, treating myself with her books as though they are fine chocolates because they are short. I want to savor them. I love MS. Kinsey's witty humor.

Continuing my research on Hoarding Disorder, I find this is another very good resource! Reading the book when I am tired, listening to Audible version when cleaning out my basement. Great insight!

There s quite a bit about the local Gulfport radio and musical groups in this section. In depth and quit informative - learning a lot. Music was a big deal in my family history. Now I know why Mamaw liked Fats Domino so much.

Much of the content so far is generic "Boomer" facts and figures loosely tied to Gulfport history, although the information is interesting and gives some background to life in the 50's. There is a decidedly Conservative slant to the book and a privileged point of view. I grew up on Gulfport west side. The book gives great detail about home design, decor and clothing fashion that is nonspecific to Gulfport.

A must read for folks dealing with loved ones suffering from all forms of dementia... I thought this story was about an extraordinary feline, but, it is so much more. The tender loving care of this author to portray life in a nursing home as he ministers to and treats his patients, and their families and the caretakers employed there is really beautifully told!

Clara's Star by Judy H. Tucker - I can tell right off the bat I am going to love this story. "One does not need to see the future; it would be too much to bear, for as surely as there are Christmas trees and candy canes and little girls laughing, there will also be tears and mourning."
