I'm having difficulty getting into this book. It is over 10 years old but I didn't think back then people were wearing slacks and turrtlenecks so much >.< The h at first seemed like she would be cool and a really strong character... but I think her personality took a nose dive when her and Vlad started to bump uglies. We'll see, this might be another on the DNF pile :(

I'm not too sure how I feel about this book thus far. I am not a fan of the raping and abuse in this book so far, regardless if its "the hordes" way of life. Way too much monkey sex (I can't believe i'm saying that). Circe seems a bit too fluffy at times. We'll see if I finish this one.

Oh dear. I'm not sure how this had such high ratings. I'm only on page 4 and am ready to call it quits.

Just started and I already want to throttle the heroine.

I never thought in 1 thousand years Lacy would be my least favorite character. So stubborn and argumentative. I just want to slap some common sense into her!

I just finished The Devil Wears Kilts (Scandalous Highlanders Book 1) and gave it 5 stars.
