Second attempt at reading this book. Still having trouble getting into it.

This book is just weird. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

Really enjoying this novel so far! Can't seem to put it down!

This book is painfully awful. Giving up!

Not sure if I'm going to be able to finish this one. It's incredibly verbose. The overabundance of unnecessary descriptions are proving to be distracting and annoying.

A first person narrator who happens to have serious amnesia. Talk about an unreliable narrator!

Laugh out loud funny!!! It's been at least 15 years since a book (Bridget Jones's Diary) has made me laugh so much. It's "Lord of the Flies" meets "Lost" meets "Survivor" meets every beauty pageant in existence that women love to hate.

So excited to read this book! Really hope these beauty queens try to kill each other like in "Lord of the Flies." Doubtful that's what this book is about, but it would fulfill my long lived desire to kick Miss America's ass. But I'm sure it's not a beauty contest, but a "scholarship program."

Really good book so far!
