Her writing is SO mundane, white and mediocre! I swear to god nothing is worse than seeing white Australia through this mundane lense, get me outta here!!! I’ve dnf’d almost all of her recent books for this reason 😭

Very juvenile so far and doesn’t feel as slow burn as it should given Alex’s nature - some pacing issues are apparent. Also I hate a nickname out of nowhere

Really bad dialogue so far - can tell her writing has improved a lot in later works
