The only reason I don’t give this 4 stars is because there was so much time in the beginning wasted. I almost quit reading it. It was hours and hours in before anything much happened and any kind of plot developed. Hopefully the next book will be more to the point quicker.

This was my third attempt to read this book. The first time was when I was in my teens and the second time I believe, was in my young adult life. I remember never finishing it because I was just confused by the whole thing. I guess you just need a little life experience to understand this book. She is a really gifted writer.

Well it was ok I guess. I’m going to give the second book a shot. Maybe there will be a little more action. Just a lot of info in this one establishing characters, etc. with just a little bit of action going on.
