This book scares me.

Two pages further and the following sentence was just used: "The sight of the hair on his legs made the hair on my arms stand up for reasons I didn't want to think about." Wait, what?? Do people often get turned on by LEG HAIR???

15 pages in and I'm already so sick of reading the word "said".

Okay. I do not understand the random mashup of choppy scenes. Some of them have no purpose? Some of them are laughable bad. It's been a (Disappointing) trip so far.
